10 years ago I had an innocuous sexual encounter with a stranger. A few days later, I started to experience burning and discomfort in my groin, which progressed to pain running down my legs, and then – over the coming weeks – all hell broke loose: red eyes, night sweats, rashes, scalloped tongue, burning skin, and more.

Over the following years I started to develop cracking joints, skin thinning, severe GI issues, chest pains, neck cracking, muscle spasms, belly weight gain, osteoporosis and an endless array of other symptoms.

Now, 10 years on, my health is rapidly declining and multiple organs show damage such as calcifications and nodules, and I have been diagnosed with numerous infections.

I have sadly passed this on to family and friends, who suffer with an array of symptoms (particularly related to fat loss, joint issues and hormone imbalances) though the symptoms are not as severe as mine.

Im 33 from Tokyo. Contracted this disease in March 2021 through oral sex with a CSW. My symptoms are very close to the Chinese unidentified disease Yinzibing (negative aids). One week after exposure i got discharge from my urethra so i suspected a common STD but all tests came back negative. Antibiotics stopped the discharge but another week later, i got a 40 degree fever with swollen lymph glands. Then my tongue was coated by thrush which was not candida. I suspected HIV but was negative after 4 tests within 6 months. Since then the following symptoms appeared:

I am managing my mental symptoms with SSRIs. I’ve been to several hospitals and ran many tests but nothing seems to be wrong on paper so doctors say I’m fine, even though i clearly have symptoms. There is nothing I can do but to pray for medical advancements and a cure. I hope this disease is non lethal.

This is my story. I got infected in London 26 years ago (03/12/1995) through sexual contact. About a week later I had a pain in my penis which moved into my testicles then my pelvis. This is when all hell broke loose and I had a load of new symptoms: night sweats, brain fog, anhedonia and lots more. I couldn’t work anymore. I consulted an std doctor who performed a number of hiv tests at my request- all negative. I then went to John Hopkins hospital in Oxford for a complete std screening , again nothing found. I was ill for about 5 years then started to get better until I was almost back to normal. Then, after 13 years I got shingles and had a terrible relapse which prevented me from working for just over a year. Again I improved until year 24 when I had another relapse which, after two years seems to be getting worse. My main symptoms now are painful glands, difficulty breathing, tiredness, fatigue and difficulty sleeping. I also have a painful penis, testicles and pelvis. I have tried everything suggested by the group but nothing seems to make any difference. I would like to try PrEP drugs but I don’t know how to get hold of them. Hi, my name is Karl and I’m 26 years old. I was infected on 28th of April 2021 trough a high risk sexual behaviour (MSM). At first when my symptoms started (1-2 weeks later) i immediately thought that i’ve contracted HIV. Acute symptoms were: lymphadenopaty, skin redness, redness in both eyes, extreme fatigue, nausea, complete apetite loss. Over time, symptoms are changing and ones that are currently active are: lymphadenopaty that comes and goes and is switching locations, pink papules on skin of trunk, fatigue. I have had multiple HIV tests : ~25. Most of them were Ag/Ab. 5 months after exposure i had a weakly reactive/unclear rapid antibody test which was overruled by another rapid antibody test, Ag/Ab and RNA-PCR. The person i had sexual contact with was tested twice for HIV, the results being non-reactive. Apart from HIV, i have tested for: HCV (2x) ,Syphillis (10x) N. Gonorrhoea(2x), C. Trachomatis(2x) and Trichomonas. I was not reactive on EBV, CMV, Antinuclear antibody test. I am vaccinated against HBV. To this day i do not know what have i been infected with and i really do hope i find out soon.

Hello Everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. I’m really bad at these as i forget to add all the relevant information. I caught this disease in February of 2021, coming up to a year. I went to 2 escorts and had protected sex / unprotected oral (pretty sure i got it from the oral). 3 weeks after the exposure, i experienced flu like symtoms like people mentioned above. At first i thought i had HIV as all the symtoms matched to my symtoms. I got several tests done, looking for all kinds of stds but nothing came up positive. At this point, I was experienceing white tongue, loose stool, fatigue, cracking joints, anxiety, depression and several other symtoms. As of now my biggest symtom is hypertension in my feet, i can literally feel the blood pulsing in my feet 24hrs a day. I have spread this disease to my whole family, who are suffereing daily. Hey guys, I would like to share my story. I contracted this in a vacation trip to Puerto Rico by having sex with a girl that I matched on tinder. This was 2 years ago. Right after having sex w her I felt very depressed and the very next day I wasn’t hungry and I was feeling low. Hey there, I’m 26 years old. From the US. My exposure was with a massage therapist/CSW in Kansas. Dumbest $100 I’ve ever spent in my entire life. Had basically non penetrative sex. She rubbed lotion on her vagina, then rubbed lotion on my penis and rubbed her vagina up and down on it till I ejaculated. No penetration what so ever. Still pretty risky. Not in the doctors opinion though. Went to the ER 60 hours after encounter to get PEP. Wouldn’t give it to me, risk wasn’t high enough for them to give it. Two days after exposure, Anxiety was running wild, burning sensation in my neck and shoulders. Diarrhea came next, for a couple days. About 2 weeks post exposure I got the worst sinus infection I’ve ever had that would not go away until I finally got onto some antibiotics. This obviously terrified me because I thought well that was my seroconversion. I tested negative AB/AG at 12 days, right before the sickness. Tested again once I was over the sickness at 28 days, negative. Tested again at 45 days, negative. I decided to move on because everywhere you read says a one time exposure post 45 day negative for hiv is conclusive. So my wife and I started having unprotected sex again, huge mistake. About 60 days into this nightmare, she got the classic ARS symptoms. Naturally, I freaked out and started testing again. I lost my appetite, aches and pains everywhere, lost damn near 50 pounds, the brain fog just debilitates me. It makes it extremely hard to get through a day of not only work, but even on the weekends just hanging out. I misread so much stuff, forget what I was doing, it’s like my motor skills have slowed as well. I don’t react to things near as quick as I used to. Those are the big ones now. 120 days post exposure, not detected HIV-1 PCR, not detected AB/AG, negative syphilis, negative for all Hepatitis. Now I’m just trying to figure out how to keep my marriage together, and keep the business I own a float.

Hello, I’m 25m my exposure was end of January. Condom broke at a happy ending. 3 weeks later it all started with testicle aches that lasted only 5 days. Here came the chronic fatigue for 2 weeks. Hello all, I Received unprotected oral 3 months ago. Did every possible std test since then, all negative, I received doxyciclin for my unknown bacterial infection, that cleared me out in a week, I regained hope. My name is A. I’m from Russia. Infected in 2015 after unprotected vaginal intercourse. Burning in the urethra came the next day. The hospital was diagnosed with: ureplasma and Gandarella vaginalis. Сourse of antibiotics was taken, which did not give tangible results. pain in the inguinal region lasted two months and stopped by the time of the onset of the acute phase of the disease.
